Steven Spyres was appointed to serve as Landmark Missionary Baptist Church's Senior Pastor in April of 1997. He trusted Jesus as Savior at the age of nine.  At the age of 26 he felt God's call on his life to preach.  Pastor Steve married Amber in 1993, whom he had known since childhood.

Pastor Steve has a love for teaching and preaching God's word.  Weather in the church building or in the community, he rejoices at the opportunity to tell of the Savior.  

Pastor Steve enjoys time with his family, an occasional round of golf, and time in nature.  He and his wife Amber have three children: Benjamin, Madison and Gideon.  They are also delighted to be the grandparents of Lydia.

Aaron Heflin has served as the associate pastor of Landmark since 2009.  Prior to that, he served as senior pastor of Landmark Baptist Church in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Brother Aaron, in addition to his devotion to preaching God's word, has a love for youth ministry and music.

The attributes that best describe Brother Aaron's as a pastor are strong preaching, leadership development and counseling. He has expressed a burning desire to lead a church like Landmark Missionary Baptist Church where biblical views are embraced and encouraged, with members who care about the needs of those around them and who want to connect others to the body of Christ.

Brother Aaron is happily married to his wife Becky. They have 2 Children: Jackson and Brooke
